A proud Bronx native, Shalva is grateful to partner with visionary founders who are building early- and growth-stage B2B SaaS companies across the US, Europe, Israel, Australia, and New Zealand. Her passion for Israel's vibrant startup ecosystem is inspired by her experiences living, working, and studying there.
Prior to joining Insight, Shalva was a growth-stage software investor at General Atlantic and began her career at iAngels, an early-stage VC firm in Tel Aviv.

She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and Consumer Psychology, where she researched deliberate practice among world-class VC investors under Dr. Angela Duckworth.

Beyond backing bold ideas, Shalva enjoys music, Broadway shows, exploring new restaurants, psychology literature, Costco, and Bamba.
