Senior AssociateI was born and raised in the SF Bay Area, witnessing not just the fog, but also technology take over the city. Eventually, I headed east to Philadelphia to study Science, Technology, and Society at UPenn. While in school, I spent meaningful time thinking about the social consequences of big data, particularly in the criminal justice system.
After graduation, I developed an NLP ‘legal case recommendation’ algorithm to empower underserved defendants during their legal proceedings. This fascination with big data and lowering barriers to entry eventually brought me to the fintech sector, where I worked at a startup democratizing access to investing through a fractionalized model. Once I got a taste for the operating side of business, I felt compelled to join Insight to continue learning about new technologies and industries.
Outside of work, you can typically find me reading, crafting, or spending time in the sun.
