
Jason joined Insight Partners in 2015 as an Operating Partner.
At Insight, Mr. Ewell works closely with portfolio company Boards, CEOs and Executive Teams on strategy & operations. In this role, he has worked closely with Veeam, Kaseya, Dext, VTS and Hootsuite in areas ranging from strategy, to go-to-market, and financial operations. He has served on the Board of Directors for Kaseya, Dext and VTS and as the interim CEO for GenArts. Mr. Ewell also served as Insight’s Head of Talent from 2016-2022.
Prior to joining Insight, Mr. Ewell worked as an EVP at TravelClick, where he oversaw a ~$300MM recurring revenue portfolio of software & services businesses and helped improve their growth rate more than 5x in 4 years. This came after spending 14 years at American Express in leadership roles over core growth functions including inside sales, channel, field operations, product & growth marketing, eCommerce and strategic partnerships. Early in his career, Mr. Ewell led Amex’s investment in Concur at an ~$25MM valuation and OpenTable at an ~$30MM valuation.
Mr. Ewell received his BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
