Ian joined Insight Partners in 2023. Previously, he worked as a Private Equity Analyst in the Single-Family Rentals group at APL Group. Prior to that, Ian co-founded a software platform that enabled retail investors to copy-trade hedge fund managers and politicians, which a competitor later acquired.

Ian graduated from Brown University with a degree in Economics. He served as Co-President of the Brown Investment Group, and separately co-founded and raised capital for a student-run equity long-short fund.

In his free time, Ian enjoys DJing, live jazz, hiking, and playing poker.
