As the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Magna, Boris Shulkin oversees all aspects of IT and Digitization, leading a global team focused on infrastructure, applications, digital transformation, cybersecurity, initiatives that create stronger technologies in the rapidly growing mobility landscape and continues to manage Magna’s Technology Investments activity.  

Shulkin has more than 28 years of experience in the automotive industry, 20+ of which have been with Magna.  

Throughout his tenure, Shulkin has held various leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Technology and Investment, and Senior Vice President of Research & Development. He has played a major role in creating product strategies, generating operational efficiency, establishing new partnerships and delivering tech to market. Shulkin currently serves on several tech and innovation boards. He holds doctoral and graduate degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Applied Statistics. Shulkin also holds multiple patents spanning manufacturing, process design, product, and controls.
