Arjun joined Insight in 2022 and focuses primarily on majority investments in growth stage software businesses. He helps lead sourcing initiatives, due diligence on new investments, and works closely with management teams at the board level to support post-close goals, with a specialization on supporting buy & builds.
Prior to joining Insight, Arjun spent 9 years leading technology investments at Bregal Sagemount where he played an important role in the platform’s growth and was named as one of Mergers and Acquisitions’ Rising Stars of Private Equity in 2020. His vertical investment experience includes supply chain, vertical software + payments, compliance, industrial software, and office of the CFO, among many others. Prior to Sagemount he worked as an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse.
Arjun graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Political Economics. While an undergrad, he served as CEO of GUASFCU, a $15 million AUM credit union based in Washington, D.C.
Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Arjun lives in New York City with his wife and son, and loves to explore new cities, try new restaurants, enjoys playing squash.
