He joined Insight Partners in 2022 from New York-based private equity firm Blackstone. Prior to that, he worked at Red & Blue Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Philadelphia.
Abdi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in American History. While at Penn, he wrote for the Penn Political Review and volunteered on the Biden Presidential campaign.
Outside work, Abdi is a long-distance runner, an avid ultimate frisbee player, and loves spending time trying new restaurants with friends.
