Driving Global Expansion
With Insight’s guidance and resources, Mimecast successfully expanded its operations globally, establishing 10 offices across four continents by February 2018. This strategic expansion allowed Mimecast to better serve its growing customer base and capture a larger share of the global UEM market.
Achieving IPO Success
Mimecast debuted on NASDAQ in November 2015 at a valuation of $540M. By 2018, the company had achieved a market capitalization of $2.3B. Throughout this period, Insight remained an investor, providing guidance to Mimecast as it navigated the demands of the public market and scaled its business to new heights.
Strengthening the Leadership Team
To support its ambitious growth goals, Insight Partners helped recruit a President & COO with deep infrastructure experience. This addition to the leadership team ensured Mimecast had the operational expertise needed to scale effectively and maintain its competitive position in the market.
