Katie Bullard

As a teenager, I realized I wanted work that allowed me to do three things: 1) solve really interesting problems, 2) learn new things every day, and 3) leverage my ability to be equally scientific and artistic. I initially thought that path would be architecture, and I could never have guessed I would have landed in technology.

I feel lucky to have grown up in an environment that valued tenaciousness, resilience, and ambition balanced with kindness, empathy, and deep-rooted core values. My family taught me the necessity of blazing my own trail and standing up for what I believed in. I realize today that those attributes define the most successful organizations globally.

When I fell into my first tech job five years into my career, I knew I had found my place. During my 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with visionary founders while successfully leading multiple software companies through the scale-up stage as a software operating executive, from $20M to $200M+ ARR multiple times over. Our success had a common thread woven throughout — an inclusive, diverse, and humble culture filled with brilliant, driven, and determined teams.

After meeting the Insight team, I immediately knew I’d found all of the qualities of an intelligent and healthy organization and wanted to be a part of it. Every day I pinch myself that I get to partner with the most brilliant founders and CEOs who find themselves at that pivotal scale-up moment, supporting them in navigating challenges and helping them achieve their vision to the fullest extent.

I’m honored to have been named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women In Tech by the National Diversity Council and to have the opportunity to speak frequently on the topic of transformational growth acceleration. My most recent position was President of A Cloud Guru, preceded by four years as the President of DiscoverOrg/ZoomInfo ahead of its successful IPO.

Outside of my love for this work, I live in Austin, TX with my husband and energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. I love running, hiking, and preserving old homes as part of a historic renovation firm I co-founded with my husband, buying and restoring more than 30 historic Austin homes.
